Santaluz Real Estate
Santaluz is a 3,800-acre gated community that was established by real estate developer DMB Associates. DMB Associates have developed several exceptional communities across the United States. Santaluz is unique in a variety of ways including developing an enviromentally friendly development. Either go to Google Maps or merely drive around the area and you can see what I am referring too. Some of the homes are grouped closer together which obviously can have it's pros and cons. The more preferred homes are generally the ones that are on the larger lots with views of the award winning golf course.
Santaluz should not be confused with Verrazano and some of the neighboring developments including Del Sur. Each of the communities have their own stories to tell and different living conditions. In a recent tour with our three buyer's specialists we found that Santaluz was much more child friendly then we had heard from some of our clients. They have a variety of events for both kids and parents at the Santaluz Club. Most people enjoy the limited lighting in the area though it can make it sometimes a little harder to find someones home you may be visiting.
The gates are staffed 24 hours a day. Many people are not aware their is a resident only gate off of San Dieguito Road that provides quick access to the Ranch and destinations west of Santaluz.
